Proxitron Through-Beam Light Barriers are ideal for detecting hot and cold objects and are resistant to infrared radiation from other heat sources. This makes these sensors ideal for detecting objects in furnaces. The extreme range sets new standards in terms of operational reliability and functional reserve and enables use in the most difficult environments.
The robust design guarantees safe operation even under vibration. The optics made of temperature-resistant glass are resistant to radiant heat. For higher ambient temperatures, designs with a cooling jacket or versions with offset electronics, fibre optic cables and optics are available.
