Inductive Proximity Switches with PTFE housing

Proxitron sensors in PTFE housings are often used in chemically aggressive environments such as cold rolling mills, cement works and coking plants.

They are made completely of plastic and are fully moulded. Proxitron sensors in PTFE housings are absolutely corrosion-free and can be used reliably even with rapid temperature changes. The combination with high-quality PTFE cable offers the optimum solution wherever temperature resistance and chemical resistance are required.

for temperature ranges from -50 °C to +180 °C
halogen-free and flame-retardant
resistant to a wide range of oils, alcohols, greases and other chemical media
good flexibility

PTFE

for temperature ranges from -190 °C to +260 °C
excellent resistance to acids, lacquers, oils, hydraulic fluids, etc.

low water absorption
weather and ozone resistant
